My art practice consists of a variety of mediums - painting, mixed media drawing and assemblage sculpture. Often collecting organic items from nature to use as reference or in the actual work, I am inspired to create, while reflecting on the ways society has adopted them into our day to day lives. I focus on specific subjects that the viewer often has nostalgic connections to. Things we’ve all experienced, received, or consumed but are often disposed of. I work to give them an importance again.
My passion for the environment while living in NYC is my main motivation for the work I create - sparking conversations about how we can each do our part via creative reuse and repurposing.
